SOLIDARITY WITH THE CP OF EGYPT AND THE EGYPTIAN WORKING CLASS

The Communist Party of the Peoples of Spain (PCPE) after being informed of the developments happened in the last days in several cities of Egypt, especially in Almahalla Alkobra, wants to express its firmest solidarity with the Egyptian workers and with the Communist Party of Egypt.

We have been informed of a high degree of repression against demonstrators and workers on strike, who demanded fair and basic labour rights. The Egyptian police, interested in silencing the workers’ and popular mobilization, has even provoked the death of, at least, two youngsters, and hundreds of demonstrators have been wounded and arrested.

We know that the capitalist forces, in Egypt and elsewhere in the world, tremble when the working class and the popular strata are able to organize in order to raise their demands, so they use every repressive mean at hand, even murder. The Communist Party of Egypt, as the vanguard organization of the Egyptian workers, is especially suffering the attacks from the Egyptian state.

Therefore, we demand respect to the right of the Egyptian workers to exert the necessary pressure and mobilization measures for the conquest of their legitimate social, economic and political rights, without the manipulation, criminalization or repression of those actions.

Llamamiento de solidaridad

Desde primeras horas de la ma?ana, el centro y las plazas principales de El Cairo han sido ocupados por fuerzas especiales de seguridad, antidisturbios y personal de seguridad de paisano. En otras ciudades como Alejandr?a y Algharbia, los ciudadanos han sido testigos de una fuerte presencia policial en las principales plazas y calles.

La ciudad de Almahalla Alkobra fue donde tuvieron lugar las manifestaciones m?s numerosas.

Casi 200 activistas ya han sido detenidos en diferentes momentos y en diferentes provincias. Muchos trabajadores est?n en huelga en solidaridad con las exigencias de los huelguistas de la empresa textil Ghazl Almahalla. Su principal exigencia es que los salarios se vinculen al ?ndice de inflaci?n ­ que afecta no s?lo a los trabajadores de Ghazl Almahalla, sino a toda la clase obrera de Egipto

La huelga de Ghazl Almahalla se transform? en una gran manifestaci?n a lo largo de toda la ciudad de Almahalla Alkobra. Pobres, campesinos y obreros  se han unido a la manifestaci?n. Casi 30.000 ciudadanos han coreado consignas contra las subidas de precios, contra los monopolios, contra el neoliberalismo y contra las fuerzas del mercado.

Las fuerzas de seguridad egipcias atacaron a los manifestantes utilizando enormes granadas de gas, balas de goma, porras eléctricas (tasers) y balas reales, con el resultado de cientos de heridos entre los manifestantes. Las fuerzas de seguridad detuvieron tanto a los heridos como a otros manifestantes

Las noticias de Almahalla Alkobra confirman la muerte de al menos dos ciudadanos, una ni?a de 9 a?os y un chico de 20.

Las “fuerzas negras” ­ una secci?n de las fuerzas de seguridad- incendiaron varias tiendas, edificios p?blicos, trenes y veh?culos, para fabricar cargos contra los manifestantes detenidos y los trabajadores. Su objetivo es estrechar el cerco de la polic?a y el estado contra la clase obrera y la creciente conciencia social en Egipto, cerco que se ha incrementado enormemente en los ?ltimos cinco a?os.

Nuestro llamamiento a ustedes es que apoyen las justas exigencias de los trabajadores de Ghazl Almahalla y su derecho a elegir los medios de expresi?n de tales exigencias, sean manifestaciones, huelgas o cualesquier otro medio.

Nosotros, los comunistas y todas las fuerzas democr?ticas y sociales, damos la alarma ante el hecho de que la polic?a, siguiendo instrucciones del Estado, iniciar? una gran campa?a de represi?n contra la clase obrera en general y los trabajadores de Ghazl Almahalla en particular. Esta certeza resulta del matonismo en la reacci?n de las fuerzas de seguridad en Almahalla Alkobra. El aviso también surge de las intenciones de las fuerzas de seguridad de fabricar cargos contra los dirigentes obreros.

On the recent violent state repression in Egypt

The Danish Communist Party expresses its strong solidarity with the popular
democratic forces of Egypt, The Egyptian working class and the Communist
Party of Egypt, after the events that took place earlier in April.

We condemn the massive repression and brutality from the Egyptian police
against demonstrations and social protests. The violent conduct of Egyptian
police force has provoked the tragic death of a 9 year old child and a 20
year old youngster. Hundreds of people have been injured and arrested.

The Mubarak Regime is trembling at the rise of the Egyptian workers, as its
international allies in USA and elsewhere tremble at the hand of social
mobilisations. They know very well that this threatens their neo-liberal,
capitalist agenda. Therefore they do not hesitate by repressing
demonstrations and the struggle of the workers, even by the most violent
means.

We demand that the Egyptian government and state respect the legitimate
rights of the people and the workers. The people have the rights to exercise
there struggle in all socially, economically, politically and culturally
spheres, and the Egyptian state should put an end to all repressive
restrictions and actions.

The responsible parties of the violent repression earlier in April,
especially in the city of Almahalla Alkobra, must be prosecuted – even if
this means targeting both governmental and presidential offices.

تضامن من النرويج

رسالة تضامن  من الحزب الاحمر النرويجى الى عمال الغزل و النسيج فى المحلة الكبرى

ان الحزب الاحمر النرويجى يؤيد بشكل تام عمال الغزل و النسيج فى المحلة الكبرى و المتصدرين فى جبهة نضال فقراء مصر ضد ارتفاع الاسعار و الدخول المنخفضة .

ان عمال المحلة ليسوا وحدهم فى نضالهم فقد انضم اليهم عمال اخرون بطول مصر و من الفلاحين المناضلون من اجل اراضيهم

و قد علمنا هنا فى النرويج ان هذه الاحتجاجات من العمال و الفلاحين و المواطنين فى الشوارع و الذين لا يستطيعون تلبية متطلباتهم اليومية من الخبز و الدقيق و المتطلبات الاساسية الاخرى , قد قوبلت بتوحش من قوات الشرطة و اعتقالات جماعية و المزيد من القمع من حكم الحزب الوطنى الديمقراطى التابع للرئيس محمد حسنى مبارك و تم اطلاق النار على العمال و المتظاهرين المصريين ,   اخواننا و اخواتنا فى النضال

نحن , الحزب الاحمر النرويجى , ندين و بشدة افعال الحكومة المصرية و دولة البوليس و المخابرات و نطالب بالافراج عن كل المعتقلين السياسيين دون اى شروط و بلا مزيد من الاعمال الانتقامية و من بينهم الاعضاء المعتقلين من جماعة الاخوان المسلمين و باقى الاحزاب و المؤسسات المعتقلين او ممن يواجه محاكمات عسكرية
